This section is maintained under the neurology department.
Procedures such as brain Doppler sonography, E.E.G, E.M.G, N.C.V, V.E.P, S.E.P and A.B.R are done in this section. E.E.G and brain Doppler sonography can be performed portably as well.

BRAIN SONOGRAPHY (TRANS CRANIAL T.C.D)
This device is used for non-invasive diagnosis of cranial vessels obstruction, early diagnosis of brain attacks and Esso spasm of cranial vessels in cases of sub-arachnoid hemorrhage, increased intra cranial pressure and…..

MUSCLE AND NERVE GRAPH9 E.M.G-N.C.V)
It is used for diagnosis of neuromuscular diseases such as primary ( Gilebbare) or secondary (diabetes, thyroid) and also nerve entanglement neuropathies like carp canal syndrome, diagnosis of disc, neck and arthritis and muscular diseases such as poly myosite and different kinds ofcongenital and acquired myopathies and neuro muscular junction diseases such as myasthenia gravis.

OPTIC NERVE ACTION POTENSIAL GRAPH (V.E.P)
It is used to measure the conduction speed in optic nerve in diseases like optic nerve neuritis, M.S and ophthalmic tumors.

AUDITORY NERVE ACTION POTENTIAL GRAPH (A.B.R)
It is used to examine the auditory tract up to the temporal lobe of the brain, diagnosis of neural deafness and causes of coma.

SENSORY NERVES ACTION POTENSIAL GRAPH (S.E.P)
It is used to examine the neural tracts from the sensory organ to the spinal cord and sensory area in the brain. It is also used in diagnosis of M.S, brain and spinal cord tumors and causes of coma.

E.E.G (electro encephylography)
It is used in diagnosis of cerebral cortex diseases such as epilepsy and convulsions, consciousness disorders, investigating causes of coma, liver and kidney encephalopathies.
