Bone Densitometry

After 50 years of age 4 in 10 ladies and 2 in 10 men struggle with fractures due to osteoporosis which is either life threatening (10% to 20% of cases)  or completely disrupts that person’s way of life.

Osteoporosis does not have any sign or symptoms until a fracture occurs and it is called the silent disease appropriately.





The only test which can be done to measure the extent of osteoporosis is densitometry.
